For nonprofit organizations, the quest for funding is a constant mission. While traditional fundraising methods for grants, donations, and special events have long been the cornerstone of nonprofit financing, the landscape is evolving, prompting organizations to explore innovative alternatives.
Join us on Tuesday, April 30th where we will hear from M. Patricia Rosely, Director of Development & Marketing at OneSource Center. Patty will discuss alternatives to fundraising, the key to board engagement and share her experiences.
Meet the Speaker
M. Patricia Rosely
Director of Development & Marketing, OneSource Center for Nonprofit Resources
Patty Rosely has spent her 35+ year career in nonprofit management for arts and cultural institutions and social service agencies with a focus on development.
As chief development officer (her role at Beech Acres Parenting Center, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Antioch College and Cityfolk in Dayton) she has created and implemented development plans and strategy, and motivated and led productive development teams to achieve success in major gifts, foundation, corporate and government support, annual fund and planned estate giving.
Patty’s fundraising superpower is creating and executing special fundraising campaigns to celebrate agency milestones and women’s philanthropy, as well as identifying and cultivating unexpected major gifts from individual donors.
She has been fortunate in her career to work for agencies of all sizes and ages, discovering along the way that regardless of size, success in fundraising is always dependent on a stellar development team that includes the CEO, the CDO and the Board of Trustees.
Patty is currently enjoying going back to her roots and serving in a one-person development shop as Director of Development & Marketing at OneSource Center for Nonprofit Resources.
