Karen Hargett currently serves as Chief People Officer for Gravity Diagnostics, where she leads with a belief that when people are supported, inspired, and seen, they can achieve extraordinary things. A dynamic HR leader with over 20 years of experience across companies large and small, Karen endeavors to turn everyday moments into opportunities for people and organizations to grow.
Before joining Gravity six years ago, she served as Head of Talent Acquisition, North America for Prysmian Group. In 2023, Karen was honored with the Cincinnati Business Courier’s Human Resources C-Suite Award. She is a member of Leadership NKY’s Class of 2025 and currently serves on the NKY Works Advisory Committee, Adopt a Class board, and is chair of the NKY Chamber of Commerce HR 100 committee.

Claire E. Parsons is an attorney with Bricker Graydon Wyatt in its Northern Kentucky office in Fort Wright. She advises public and private entities on employment law, human resources, and workplace compliance matters. Her practice includes counseling clients on employment policies and procedures, personnel decisions, workplace investigations, employment contracts, and litigation in state and federal courts in Kentucky and Ohio.
Claire brings a practical, HR-focused perspective to her legal work. She is SHRM-CP certified and is the General Editor of Employment Contracts and Agreements: A Guide for Corporate Counsel, a LexisNexis legal treatise which addresses the drafting, negotiation, and enforcement of employment agreements. Claire is the current President of Northern Kentucky SHRM. She is known for helping organizations navigate complex personnel issues with sound judgment, clear communication, and an understanding of the operational realities facing employers.
