Founder Award Honoree: Tom Munninghoff

Founded Munninghoff, Lange & Co. in 1983.

Co-founder and current CEO.

Tom supervises the firm’s tax practice with areas of concentration in Estate/Gift Tax, Employee Benefit Programs, Real Estate, and Corporate and Individual Income Taxes; he assists in preparing financial plans; he assists in various negotiations involving financing, buyouts, reorganizations, and expansions; Tom has helped numerous clients with succession and estate planning. Tom consults and testifies as an expert witness on various insurance and tax issues in litigation matters; He is a regular speaker at various insurance seminars and public forums.

Tom graduated from Thomas More College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting, followed by his MBA degree from Xavier University. He obtained his Law degree from Northern Kentucky University, Chase College of Law.

Tom is a member of various professional organizations including the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is an Honorary member of the Kentucky Bar Association. He is a past member of the Kentucky Captive Insurance Association, and has been involved in the Catholic Order of Foresters in insurance matters as a past Board Member and officer.

In his free time, Tom enjoys attending various NKU sporting events, and spending time with his six grandchildren.
